Where does Wisconsin stand? Big Ten football uniform rankings

Rutgers' uniforms are as boring as they come. Plain red with a nondescript “R” logo is pretty forgettable.

Need I say more?

Nebraska's uniforms are about as boring as Rutgers', but the red looks a little fancier. They also have some stripes, which shows they put at least some effort into the design.

Everyone knows that Penn State's uniforms are the most plain and generic around, but because of their history and tradition, we are legally obligated not to list them last.

Purdue's black and gold is a consistent color combination. Unfortunately, there are a few other black uniforms in the league that outshine them.

Indiana has a solid helmet design and a classic logo. How is that better than Rutgers and Nebraska, you ask? Well, it's probably similar, but Indiana football has so little, just let them have this one.

Purple in uniforms is always great. See: Toronto Raptors of the 90s, Milwaukee Bucks of the 00s, Minnesota Vikings, etc.

Both Washington and UCLA feature gold in the foreground. UCLA only beats Washington because their helmet logo has a little more…flair.

Black and yellow are just football colors. Plus, I like the Hawkeye logo better than a simple letter.

Maryland's uniforms are always very polarizing. Some hate them, some love them. They are definitely different and I think that's the best thing about them. The inclusion of the state flag is also very creative.

Although the “I” logo leaves something to be desired, the color combination of orange and blue is clean.

You just don't see maroon or burgundy jerseys that often and I think the Gophers do it well. However, I would prefer the alternate logo to the biggest “M” ever on a helmet.

Ohio State, much like Penn State, has a terribly boring uniform, but can't be hated because of its tradition. However, the little Buckeye stickers give it something unique.

The Spartans have a great name, logo and color. It's hard not to like this uniform.

Wisconsin has a good color scheme and the Motion W logo is unique. That's the main reason it beats Nebraska or Indiana and especially Rutgers.

Michigan has a great color combination and one of the more unique helmets in the Big Ten. It has tradition, but also style.

Oregon has about 1.7 million different jerseys, but they always look amazing, so while they lack some tradition, they make up for it with a certain coolness factor. Find a bad picture of Marcus Mariota in a Ducks jersey, I challenge you.
