LeBron James leaves NBA Twitter in splits using pirated site

LeBron James has a reputation for being “the cheapest basketball player,” despite being one of only three billionaires to leave the league. As if the words of Dwyane Wade and Bronny James weren't enough, LBJ's recent courtside appearance has officially cemented that story. Fans were amused by the images online after a video of the Lakers star watching an NBA game via an unauthorized stream went viral.

The King was recently spotted at the NBA Draft Combine after leaving the season early.

He couldn't afford to miss Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals between the Dallas Mavericks and the Minnesota Timberwolves because he loves the game so much.

Still, there were some concerns about the platform he used to watch the game. Interestingly, LeBron's friend, who was sitting next to him, used his laptop to access “Stream East,” a well-known unofficial streaming service, to watch the game. A fan mocked D-Wade for allegedly saying that LeBron is way too stingy for his wealth.

“Wade wasn't lying when he said Bron was stingy.”

Another fan asked how expensive the League Pass would be in the US, since even the famous athlete with a net worth of $1.2 billion couldn't afford it.

It is a common belief that the richest people are the most frugal. LeBron seems to have taken this statement a little too literally. To express his opinion, one fan used the famous Miami Heat LeBron meme.

This view of LeBron James is not entirely new. Two of the main propagandists of this story are his former colleague Dwyane Wade and his eldest son Bronny.
