NBA fans criticize Warriors champion for statements by Luka Doncic and Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks are just two wins away from eliminating the Minnesota Timberwolves and advancing to the NBA Finals. After winning their first two road games of the Western Conference Finals, Dallas has a firm grip on this series as they head home for games three and four.

While many enjoyed this run by Luka Doncic and the Mavericks, that was not the case for former NBA guard Nick Young. Young made it clear online throughout the Mavericks' run that he is not a Doncic fan, nor is he happy about Dallas' success as a team.

After Game 2 of the Western Conference finals, Young posted a tweet attempting to curse the Mavericks, which led to many NBA fans criticizing him:

Young, who won the NBA championship with the Golden State Warriors in 2018, openly hoped the Timberwolves would beat the Denver Nuggets. When that happened, Young turned his focus to the Western Conference Finals, where he openly hoped Minnesota would beat Dallas.

After Game 7 between Denver and Minnesota, Young sent the following post:

Many have put this post back on the timeline as Luka Doncic continues to dominate, reminding Young that the NBA's international superstar status did not end with Jokic's exit in these playoffs. Many believe Young has something against Doncic himself in particular, as the former NBA guard made this post during the Western Conference semifinals:

Even though things aren't looking good for him right now, Young still hopes the Timberwolves can knock off the Mavericks. You can read what NBA fans think about Young's posts in the comments section.
