Weekly Reviews of Bitter Sweet Hell

Also known as Gaslighting, the story follows “Korea's top psychological counselor Yeong-won and her mother-in-law Sa Kang, who are confronted with each other's secrets and truths because of their husband and son,” according to IMDB. The show's second episode had an average rating of 5.5 percent.

The ratings of “The Atypical Family” are falling

After rising viewership both domestically and globally, Jang Ki Yong's supernatural romantic comedy saw its ratings drop to 3.5 percent at the start of its second season. Last week, the series averaged 4.2 percent, climbing to sixth place in Netflix's non-English category. Now, it has slipped to eighth place.

tvN's The Midnight Romance in Hagwon, a replacement for the hit Queen of Tears, failed to impress despite its star-studded cast. Due to controversy over some “inappropriate” scenes, the show's ratings dropped, reaching a nationwide average rating of 4.2 percent for its fifth episode. Meanwhile, KBS 2TV's Beauty and Mr. Romantic remained the most-watched show with 15.26 percent.
