Apple leak: Animated emojis are coming!

Emoji fans, pay attention: Apple's new iOS 11 has leaked online and will completely change our most popular SMS symbols.

With the next feature-packed iPhones set to be officially announced on September 12, the leak claims that animated emojis, also known as Animojis, are the next big trend.

Yes, forget your excitement when they finally added the taco emoji, these ones actually MOVE.

Even better, 9to5Mac reports that the Animojis are based on your own facial expressions and use your voice.

“Users create them within the Messages app on an iPhone 8; it looks like the feature will be exclusive to the OLED phone as it relies on the 3D sensor hardware for facial tracking,” the website reveals.

“Animojis can be customized by moving the left and right eyebrows, cheeks, chin raising, eye opening or blinking, jaw movement, lips, and mouth movements such as frowning and smiling.”

Other interesting features to look out for include unlocking your phone using facial recognition instead of your fingerprint.

The only downside? These fun tricks come at a price. According to reports, “top-of-the-line” models can cost buyers a whopping $2,000.
