Is there anything more exciting than a beautiful book? Let's face it: There's something about a super old book that can take us back in time and dazzle us with its wise beauty before we even start reading. That's why it's especially cool to see these anatomical drawings on old book pages. Cecila Levy is an artist who shares her incredible work on Etsy, and trust us when we say, even if you don't particularly like reading, these pieces of art will make you want to stick your nose in a book – or hang it right up on your wall.

Levy runs her Etsy shop called PRRINT by repurposing old books, mostly old dictionaries, and turning them into canvases for her anatomical drawings. Although drawings of the human body can of course be a little nauseating, somehow they come across as very feminine and aesthetic in her work. The loving use of colors and flowers probably helps with that!

You can order Levy's works either as a simple print that looks great on your desk or windowsill, or as a poster that you can stick on your walls. We think these works of art also make great gifts!
