Penn State could receive even more money in the future. According to Cllct's Matt Liberman, universities will receive additional payments based on the game's success and will receive a 10% royalty on sales for the next four iterations of the game due to an agreement between universities and EA Sports.

As for the game, the first official trailer has already been released and Penn State was to see in the trailer. The highly anticipated game is now available for pre-order, with the Deluxe Edition releasing on Tuesday, July 16th and the regular edition releasing on Friday, July 19th for XBOX Series X and PS5.
