ARMY reinterprets “Bridgerton” with other BTS songs as “Dynamite”

Netflix And Shondaland's successful historical drama Bridgertonadapted from Julia Quinnthe novel series, finally returned last week with season 3. The focus is on the popular characters Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Lukas Neumann).

While everyone can’t stop talking about the infamous carriage scene (if you know it, you know it) in which the orchestral version of Pit BullAnother classic cover of a pop song that we need to discuss is the 2011 track “Give Me Everything”.

And this is BTSs “Dynamite”.

In 2022, Vitamin String Quartet teased ARMYs via Twitter (now X) and asked which BTS song they would like to see in Season 3 of Bridgerton.

Before Bridgerton With the release of Season 3, Part 1, Netflix revealed the list of orchestral covers included and BTS’ “Dynamite” was confirmed.

Of course, the ARMYs were excited that BTS would have their say in some way.

But many were also disappointed and skeptical. They had wanted “Black Swan” from the beginning and thought it was the perfect choice.

Nevertheless, the armies tried to watch Bridgerton with an open mind. Vitamin String Quartet's version of BTS's “Dynamite” was heard in episode 2 of season 3 when Eloise was talking to her new friends at a ball while others danced to the song. Many ARMYs felt a sense of pride watching the scene and hearing the familiar tune.

Eliott posted another clip, this time featuring “Pied Piper.” It went viral, with 1.3 million views at the time of writing.

With “Fake Love,” Eliott even revisited one of Simon and Daphne’s iconic scenes from the first season.

A particularly gruesome reinterpretation was Microcosm for one of Queen Charlotte and King George's dance scenes. For fans of Queen Charlotte, there is also the heartbreaking dance scene between Reynolds and Brimsley in Spring Day.

How amazing would these scenes have been?

Unfortunately, we will probably never get one of BTS' most popular songs BridgertonAs some have noted, “Dynamite” was distributed by UMG (Universal Music Group). For the other songs, it would probably be much more difficult and expensive to obtain the rights to use them.
