[SPOILER] It is now confirmed that he will have a cameo appearance in the film

The marketing campaign for Deadpool and Wolverine has been in full swing with tickets going on sale earlier this week, but there is still a lot we don't know about the film.

Although rumors abound, the trailers have only hinted at the third installment's multiversal elements, with glimpses of the TVA and The Void. Only time will tell if Taylor Swift wows us and the original X-Men return, but at least one cameo has now been confirmed.

In the latest episode of FX's Welcome to WrexhamRob McElhenney visits Ryan Reynolds on Deadpool and Wolverineis ready to make a cameo appearance.

The actor hides his costume under a robe, but there is a shot (at 2:04) where we can clearly see the Time Variance Authority logo on his chest. Reynolds even hints that he's playing one of their agents, and that's confirmed here.

Whether we will see McElhenney's face in the film remains to be seen, but this refutes theories that he will be a Deadpool variant.

“You know, with films like this, there is so much speculation about so many people who could be in the film,” Reynolds recently said when asked about the rumors surrounding Swift. “I saw one guy who was convinced Elvis was in the movie. Anything can happen and that's what I love about this universe. Surprises are the essence of Deadpool.”
