NBA champion tears up Phoenix Suns after being overwhelmed by Timberwolves

The Phoenix Suns' season ended on Sunday evening with a 122-116 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Despite their extremely talented roster, the Suns were unable to win a game against the Timberwolves.

After the game, NBA champion Kendrick Perkins sent one post on X with a video.

Perkins: “Swept. They were swept. Bradley Beal, Kevin Durant, Devin Booker. Swept. One of the biggest disappointments in NBA history. If not the biggest disappointment in NBA history.”

Considering that Beal, Booker and Durant are all multiple-time NBA All-Stars, it was expected that the Suns would have great success in the postseason.

They finished the regular season as the sixth seed in the Western Conference and had a record of 49-33.

Last season, the Suns were without Beal and lost in the second round (in six games) to the Denver Nuggets.

Starting the offseason so early will surround the team with a lot of questions about the future of its roster (and its head coach).

Durant turns 36 in September but is still one of the league's best players, averaging 27.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.2 blocks per game in '75 while posting 52, Shot 3% from the field and 41.3% from three-point range in regular season games.

However, he has been eliminated in the first round in two of the last three seasons.

The Timberwolves now move into the second round and will face either the Los Angeles Lakers or the Denver Nuggets.
