Win a cool million with these 26 Texas Lottery scratch cards

Me and a colleague were recently talking about what seven-figure amount of money we would like to have in our bank account. My answer was $2.5 million. I could buy a house and a good car for my fiancé and I, about $500,000 for it. We could pay for our wedding and have a nice honeymoon, like $50,000 for it. That's my Lindale math that I work there, but I think these numbers are reasonable. Everything else would be left in the bank to take care of everything else.

Become an instant millionaire

To get that $2.5 million number, I would have to win it immediately. So the price would be $5 million because our wonderful government (you can feel the sarcasm in that) has to pick up their half. A bunch of thieves. The best way to get an instant win is to play the lottery. Playing can be done by selecting a few random numbers drawn on different nights of the week or by picking up a scratch card at the local gas station.

These scratch cards range in price from $1 to $100. Of course, the higher the price you pay for the ticket, the higher your chance of winning the jackpot. Typically, your $1, $2, $3, $5, and $10 tickets will have the lower jackpot of $100,000 or $50,000 or $20,000, which would be fantastic in its own right.

Taking a risk of $1 million or more

Picking up a ticket valued at $20, $30, $50 or $100 gives you the best chance of winning an instant million dollar prize. Below is a list of current Texas Lottery scratch-off tickets with top prize jackpots of $1 million or more. One of these tickets still has a prize of $20 million up for grabs.

Take a look and get ready to play and hopefully win big.
