Texas A&M Aggies OL Derrick Graham enters transfer portal…again

The Texas A&M Aggies received bad news on Tuesday as offensive lineman Derrick Graham entered the NCAA transfer portal for the second time in his college career.

Graham was with the program for just four months in a very crowded offensive linemen room. The product and graduate student from Lake Minneola, Florida, has one year of eligibility remaining.

The Aggies had subpar play along the offensive line last season and needed new additions to add depth through the portal. Texas A&M added former Kansas OL Ar'maj Reed-Adams and former FAU OL Dorian Hinton and displaced Graham.

That's not to say Graham doesn't have talent, but there are only so many roster spots in Aggieland – especially along the offensive line.

Graham should have no problem finding a new home for his final college season.

Graham is still a highly talented player and I have no doubt he will find a new home sooner or later. On the Aggie front, however, the depth chart is still at 15 players, including several up-and-coming young players who won't contribute to the competition until the fall.

A member of the Class of 2020, Graham signed with Troy in December 2019 and enrolled in August 2020. He entered the transfer portal for the first time in December of this season and committed to the Aggies in January 2024. Without Graham, who ever looked bad for A&M is now out.
