Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Orlando Magic tips, NBA playoff odds

The No. 4 seed Cleveland Cavaliers will face the No. 5 seed Orlando Magic in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

Game 1 of the best-of-seven series is scheduled for Saturday in Cleveland. The tip-off time has not yet been announced.

Cleveland and Orlando tied 2-2 in the regular season. The Magic earned a 116-109 road win over the Cavaliers in their last meeting on February 22nd.

Cleveland enters the series with its core intact. Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland and Evan Mobley have all played fewer than 60 games this season, but the trio are available for the postseason.

Orlando is making its first playoff appearance since the 2019-20 season. Its players have appeared in a total of 91 playoff games, which is the lowest total of any playoff/play-in team.

Justin Martinez writes: “Last season, the lights were too bright for Cleveland, which suffered a 4-1 series loss to New York in the first round of the playoffs. A lack of physicality proved to be the Cavaliers' downfall, and that will continue to be the case. When they face the Magic, they will have to change. Jalen Suggs and Co. will make sure it's a tough series, but Orlando doesn't have the experience or shooting to pull off an upset.
