Watch an Augusta resident make the first hole-in-one of 2024 Masters week

Luke List of Augusta became the first to make a hole-in-one in Wednesday's par-3 contest at the 2024 Masters Tournament.

List turned his tee shot back toward the marker on the 140-yard sixth hole, reaching the bottom of the cup for the 108th hole-in-one in the competition's history. He high-fived Keegan Bradley in his pair before hugging the family who served as his caddies.

List also had a hole-in-one as an amateur in 2005, when the Vanderbilt graduate mastered the seventh hole.

The 39-year-old Seattle native moved to Augusta several years ago and has focused more on family than golf. He currently sits 37th in the FedEx Cup standings and qualified for this year's tournament by winning the Sanderson Farms Championship last October.

Gary Woodland makes the second ace at the Par 3 Contest Masters 2024

Gary Woodland made the 109th hole-in-one in the history of the competition shortly after List when he also mastered hole number 6.

He celebrated his coupling with Mike Weir and Tom Watson before being hugged by his wife and two children.

Woodland returned to golf in January after having a brain tumor removed in September.

Former University of Georgia golfer Sepp Straka scores a hole-in-one

A little more than an hour from his college, Sepp Straka landed an ace on the 155-yard par-3 seventh hole on Wednesday.

The former University of Georgia golfer finished third on the day after List and Woodland mastered the sixth hole.

Straka jumped into the arms of JT Poston before high-fiving his former Bulldog colleague Chris Kirk and kissing his wife Paige Dean.

Lucas Glover gets the fourth ace of the day in the par-3 contest

Lucas Glover was the first of the day on Wednesday to complete the 115-yard seventh hole.

He played alongside Brian Harman, the 2023 Champion Golfer of the Year, and Harris English.
