TO UPDATE: The full list of PS Plus Extra and Premium games has been released by Sony. Games coming to PS Plus Extra on April 16 include Dave the Diver, Oddballers, Construction Simulator, The Crew 2, Raji: An Ancient Epic, LEGO Ninjago Movie Videogame, Nour: Play with your Food, Deliver Us Mars , LEGO Marvel Avengers and Miasma Chronicles and Stray Blade. Tales of Kenzera: Zau launches on PS Plus Extra on April 16th, while Animal Well launches on PS Plus on May 9th. The PS Plus Premium series, on the other hand, includes Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare, Star Wars: Rebel Assault II: The Hidden Empire and the PSOne version of MediEvil.

ORIGINAL: If you are a PS Plus Extra and Premium subscriber, the good news is that Sony will soon unveil the next games for PS4 and PS5. The PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games offer for April 2024 will be officially announced on the afternoon of April 10 at 4:30 p.m. BST (UK time). However, the vast majority of games will be available to download and play on the morning of April 16th, with one title (more on that later) joining the lineup on April 23rd. It looks like a few games are also leaving PS Plus in April, including SoulCalibur 6 and Everspace. Although there are currently no significant leaks, Sony has already announced two of the games that will be coming to PS Plus Extra in April.

It all starts with 2023's surprise hit Dave the Diver, which will arrive on PlayStation Plus Extra on day one.

The game tasks players with diving for fish and other treasures during the day and running a sushi restaurant at night.

It's a unique and somewhat relaxing game, and one with a whopping 90% rating on Metacritic.

Perhaps to compete with Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass subscription, Sony is offering PS Plus Extra subscribers another day one release as Tales of Kenzera: ZAU joins the service on April 23rd.

Ahead of the announcement of April's PS Plus Extra games, fans on Reddit have been trying to predict the lineup.

There are a few recommendations for Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition, which seems like a solid choice given its status as a first-party exclusive.

Likewise, God of War Ragnarok, Gran Turismo 7 and Spider-Man 2 could join the line-up, although the latter seems unlikely.

Other games predicted include Dead Island 2, Hades, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and Sonic Frontiers.
