This iPhone and Apple Watch app really wants you to move more

Most days I read a headline about how we all spend too much time sitting and not enough time moving. I make an effort to walk, exercise, and move throughout the day – often relying on my Apple Watch to force me to get up. But Wakeout combines similar reminders with lots of things to do when you finally get up.

The Wakeout app (officially called Wakeout! Defeat Sedentary Life in the App Store, but that's so clunky) uses information from Apple Health to figure out how sedentary you are – I'm 14% sedentary, but as a freelance writer, that's it What's surprising is that my training paid off because I was expecting worse.
