Arsenal vs Bayern Munich live scores, results, updates, stats, lineups from the Champions League quarter-finals

Arsenal host Bayern Munich in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals, with a path to glory at Wembley on June 1 looming.

Mikel Arteta's side are aiming to reach their first semi-final in the competition since 2009, but their record against the German giants suggests it won't be easy.

Bayern have beaten the Gunners 5-1 in each of their last three meetings, but Arsenal's defense is arguably the best in Europe at the moment.

Despite a difficult Bundesliga season, the German team has a hot and firing Harry Kane. He has scored 38 goals and contributed 12 assists so far this season – the only player in Europe's top five leagues to contribute 50 goals so far.

The England captain and former Tottenham striker will be desperate to keep alive his only chance of winning the silver medal and it would be particularly important to eliminate his former north London rivals.

The Sporting News follows the Arsenal vs. Bayern Munich game live and offers current score updates, comments and highlights.
